EPS is delighted to announce that it has been shortlisted for an award under the new Category E - Outstanding Leadership in Energy Management Award at the annual Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) Sustainable Energy Awards 2012. This is the 8th year of this national initiative, which is the only awards scheme recognising best practice in energy performance, management and design.
This is in recognition of how instrumental EPS staff has been in successfully motivating decision makers and energy users to support energy efficient initiatives and deliver substantial benefits. The shortlisting also demonstrates the EPS Group's commitment to include energy management as part of our overall management structure.
EPS takes pride in these acknowledgements from such prestigious organisations as the SEAI and view them as a resounding endorsement of our developing culture of energy efficient thinking within the organisation.
EPS has already been successful in securing a shortlisting for an award in Category C - Energy Efficient Award for the second year running. This category is for organisations that have implemented one or more successful projects or processes in any area, such as process, building or transport and demonstrated significant savings in energy consumption for a minimum of 1 year prior to entry.
Many thanks to all those involved across the organisation to get EPS to this high level and fingers crossed for a positive outcome for EPS in this year's awards ceremony on 22nd November 2012 in Dublin.
