This was a strategic project for Severn Trent Water to secure water supply to Birmingham city.
Frankley WTW has capacity of 480MLD.
The project included:

New Lime Dosing Plant in existing Sludge Building to replace redundant lime plant

All packages designed in 3D, integrated with BIM software, factory manufactured, assembled, tested in-house and delivered safely in best practice configurations

Early engagement; 3D conceptual design; early site visits.
Our collaborative approach to this project involved:

BIM 4D scheduling introduced

Synchro used to work collaboratively with the design, construction, commissioning and planning teams, including the suppliers

Weekly scheduling sessions run on site

Linking the project 3D model with the delivery programme

Providing improved visibility and understanding of the construction/installation and commissioning phases
