EPS supports local groups and industries

In a project titled “EPS Community Energy Performance Solutions”, EPS has continued to interact with SEAI (Sustainable Energy Authority Ireland) through the 2013 Community Grant Scheme. Under this scheme, EPS is utilising its project management skills, technologies and resources to assist utility companies, client organisations and voluntary groups to increase energy efficiency throughout Ireland in a variety of wastewater energy efficiency projects.

In a unique and first of its kind collaboration and partnership between EPS and SEAI, groups from counties Cork, Limerick, Kerry and Laois as well as businesses in Waterford, Mayo, Laois and Limerick will benefit from grants totalling €670,000.  The collaboration is funded by SEAI through the Better Energy Communities Programme 2013.  Groups to benefit as part of the EPS led collaboration include the following:-

This innovative collaboration will lead to a total CO² reduction of  911,284 Kg CO².  The pioneering collaboration supported by SEAI aligns very well with the values of EPS where sustainability and support for local communities in which we operate are core to our activities.
